The Baldyga Technical Seminar series is a platform for doctoral students, early career researchers, and industry professionals to discuss insights on mixing challenges in biochemical and chemical engineering applications. The seminar aims to foster collaboration, share best practices, and provide career advice from industry representatives over a two-days meeting held on 12-13th September and hosted at UCL Biochemical Engineering.
Why it's of interest to members, students, industry-based researchers, etc
Mixing-related challenges are very common in the process industry and often responsible for suboptimal process performance and high risk of failure. The Seminar will include state-of-the-art technical presentations on experimental techniques and simulations to assess multiphase flow, suspension and mixing for a variety of applications. It will provide a networking opportunity for early career scientists working in higher education or industry to engage with peers and share best practice as well as engage in troubleshooting and ideas generation discussions.
